Professional
After a period of articled practice in a Notary’s firm (1985-88), he became Senior Assistant at the legal and tax consulting firm of Arthur Andersen (1989-90) and thereafter Associate Partner of KPMG (1990-99). In 2000 he became a Partner in Lexjus. His practice involves corporate, civil and contract work, generally for business clients. He advises international groups, companies and agencies. He has been a member of arbitration panels. He is experienced in M & A, restructuring and corporate reorganization.
He is a recognized expert in the development of compliance programs and organizational models pursuant to Decree Law 231/2001 and in the creation of structures of corporate governance. He also has experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical, transportation and non-profit sectors.
Education
Degree in Law with a dissertation on Private Law (Prof. N. Irti) from the La Sapienza University of Rome.
Activities in university and/or institutional jobs
Since 1985 Assistant to Prof. Irti , Chair of Private Law La Sapienza University of Rome. From 1988 to 1991 Research Scholar at the LUISS Guido Carli, Rome, in the faculty of Law. From 2002 he teaches at the LUISS Business School. He has taught at the Master’s course at the LUMSA University of Rome in "Social Responsibility of the Firm" "and in the course in “M & A and Corporate Law," sponsored by Il Sole 24 Ore,. Lecturer in corporate matters and Decree Law 231/2001 at the School of Chartered Accountants of Perugia.
Author of the following monographs (in Italian) : "Corporate governance and corporate liability - Models prior Decree.Law 231/2001 and their effectiveness "(2004)," The entrepreneurial partner in the new SRL "(2007). Co-author of "Unwinding and liquidation of limited liability companies" (2004)."The form of nuptial agreements", in “Formalism in the special laws” by Prof. Irti (1987); the entry "arbitration clause" in the “ Dictionary of Arbitration” by Prof. N. Irti (1997), "Governance, adequacy and functioning of business organization" (2008).
He has published with the following editorial houses : IPSOA, Il Sole 24 Ore, Italia Oggi, Il Fisco. Speaker at conferences, seminars and training courses.
